Twitter How To, What is Twitter?
Twitter really is so simple to use yet so difficult to explain to somebody who has never used the the service before. I have seen tweeps use twitter in so many different ways, when I now try to describe to non tweeting friends just what twitter is I end up confusing them with a half day lecture on social media, its principles and stratergies.
So to come up with a short and concise explanation of twitter for complete tweet virgins I started looking at how other seasoned tweeps get the message of twitter is for communicating on many levels across.
This research led me to this fantastic, short but sweet video courtesy of commoncraft.

Twitter is addictive, you start because you are curious about it and in no time you are in.
Is hard to describe Twitter because it is so different vs other Web 2.0 Application.

Initially I fill restricted by 140 char, but I realize that this is one of the powerful feature of twitter, even if you are very, very busy you always have time to write/read less the 140 chat.
