Hi. I'm new to tweetdeck and I've created a group recently. I noticed that everytime I open tweetdeck, all my columns have updates or previous entries, i.e all friends, mentions, direct messages but not my group column. Does anyone know if tweetdeck stores previous entries on the group column? Do I have to set anything under preferences to set this up?
thanks!

You can just copy the URL from your browser (or type it, if you know the address) and paste straight into the "What are you doing?" tweet / text box. Or paste / type the URL into the "shorten URL" box found below the main tweet box, then hit enter or the shorten URL button (which has two arrows pointing to each other). Then just send your tweet as normal.

Does adding more groups cause your API count to decrease more quickly? It seems to be going down AWFULLY fast.

I'd like to separate a few prolific tweeps into one group (easy), and then show everyone except for those few in another window. There doesn't seem to be a way to do "all but" for a group.

Joann

Unfortunately there is no way to retrieve closed groups. This has become slightly better since the introduction of a two click process to close groups but I hope Ian @tweetdeck will include a means of fetching previously created groups, I do not know how practical this is to implement? Let tweetdeck know your thoughts and suggestions @tweetdeck or via tweetdecks feedback page. Tweetdeck do use twitter to communicate and help their users very well.

How do I retrieve existing groups if I close the group window? TweetDeck seems to want me to recreate it each time...
