Twitter How To Find Interesting People to Follow and Get More Followers Automatically.

Okay, so now you have your twitter account but want to find interesting people to follow, you have tried the twitter search but are gaining very few followers or you simply can not find any twitter conversations on the interests you have, what do you do?
This is a ‘twitter how to‘ that can be answered with many different techniques but I am going to show you the way I am currently finding people to communicate with and help. This will only take you a few minutes of your time, costs you nothing and best of all anybody can use this method for any interest they want to tweet about.
- First get yourself over to Twollo (a great auto find and follow service) and create an account. You will need to give your twitter log in details but I have been using this service without any twitter account robbing problems for some time.
- Now once you have logged in to Twollo your going to see a page like this

- First up you select how many new people you want to find. Select between ‘up to 10′ and ‘up to 500′. Twollo will continue to auto follow people it finds talking about your interest up to this number, which can be set different for each search you run.
- Now select the language you tweet in.
- Finally type in the interest you want to tweet about then hit the add button.
Twollo will do the rest on auto for you whilst you enjoy life or what ever it is you got to do.
Below is a shot of some searches on my Twollo account. If you are the impatiant type you can hit the ‘quick run’ link for each search rather than wait the hour or so Twollo normally updates your search.
To finish a search just click the ‘X’ next to the search term.
You will also get all the tweeps Twollo has auto followed for you listed below each search/interest. Clicking on a twitter name from the list will take you to the twitter page of that tweep and if you hit the ‘X’ next to a twitter name, you will unfollow them on twitter and block them from being re-followed through Twollo.
Twitter how to; maximize the effectiveness of Twollo.
As with any kind of search online you want to keep your interest (search term) as specific as possible, then if no results are forthcoming broaden the search later. Make sure you use quote marks like a phrase search on google (“search”) to home in on tweeps tweeting about your phrase or interest and not fetch results for tweets with any of the words in your search term. See how I do it below. Rather than look for people tweeting about ‘twitter’ and any people mentioning ‘search’, using quote marks Twello will only follow tweeps with the phrase ‘twitter search’ in their tweets.
This becomes even more important if you follow the next part of my twitter how to system which will send a direct message to anybody that follows back. (Normally about 50% of follows follow back but this does vary depending on your interest)
For now get over to Twollo, find some people to follow, remember be specific and this will help your follow back rate, then go enjoy the conversation on twitter as twollo finds more like minded tweeps to add to your community of interest.
In my next Twitter how to use Twollo post I’ll show you why being specific with your search is so important and how to take this to the next level. If you are tweeting to gain readers for your blog, to increase brand awarness or to promote your product you will love this.
Till next time, let me have your feedback on twollo in the comments, hook up with me @twittergator and remember….. get involved

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction with Twollo!
I didn’t realise that tools such as that even existed, and wonder how many others are using the same thing? What a great way to find people with similar interests!
Thank you for the post on Twollo.
I’ve been looking at different tools to use that integrate with Twitter and this looks to be a useful one!
